Here is a character study which I did for my short film. This helps to conceptualise what each character is about and gives a backdrop to their meaning and purpose in the story:

• Wears tatty, non-lable clothing
• Loves music
Paul:
• Lost his little brother
• Larger built
• Forced into a gang in Nottingham when he was young and became the leader
• Distant from others due to second guessing his life
• Has a strong conscience
• Dresses in all black
• Loves music
• Wants to honor his brother and become a scuba diving instructor
Johnnie:
• Pauls dead little brother
• Innocent
• Cheerful
• Smaller frame
• Wears collared shirts and shoes
• Wanted to go scuba diving in the Bahamas
Margaret:
• Landlord
• Older woman who lives on her own
• Frail
• Kind
• Honest
