So after a few emails back and forth, I tried to set up a meeting with John and Dennix to go over what I have in mind for the film. Unfortunately, John was busy this weekend so I scheduled a meeting with Dennix.
We met up last night and went over the idea behind the film, the script, the storyboards, and also spoke some about the shoot dates and times. After we spoke about the film we had a chance to get to know each other a bit better. Here is a little about him:
- 26 years old
- Born in South Africa
- Moved to UK when he was 14
- Lives in Mansfield
- Likes going out
- Studied music at Nottingham University
- Has a comedy sitcom in the making
Additionally, I think its important for an actor to be able to identify with the role they are playing. Dennix told me when we met up that he has been in a rough environment and seemed to empathize and understand Paul. This will be very beneficial in making the film feel genuine.
