Artefact 4 - Aim & Plan

The results provided by Artefact 3 show that visual content is the most influential element in inducing a relaxed state in the viewer. Therefore, pursuing what content in particular is the most effective is important.

As a result of the result of Artefact 3, the goal of Artefact 4 is to determine whether personalised content will provide a stronger relaxing effect than a clip created for general use.

In order to produce a clip that is personalised, the plan is to have a viewer select a number of images and video which they find relaxing. The hypothesis is that by selecting their own content to appear in an edit, they will have a deeper connection with the images, thus increasing the therapeutic effect.

Additionally, some participants of previous Artefacts were not completely calmed by the music due to it not being their "style". Therefore, by letting a viewer select their own soundtrack that they find relaxing, this problem will not occur.
